Account Security

If you think your account has been compromised, follow these steps immediately.

Immediate Steps​

Step 1: Reset Your Password​

Change your vape.gg password immediately. Use a strong, unique password that you don't use anywhere else.

Step 2: Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)​

Don't lose your 2FA app

If you lose access to your authenticator app, you'll have to perform a 7-day security reset to regain access to your account.

2FA prevents anyone from logging in without access to your authenticator app.

  1. Go to Account Settings
  2. Enable Two-Factor Authentication
  3. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.)

Step 3: Secure Your Email​

If someone accessed your Vape account, they may have also compromised your email. You should:

  • Change your email password
  • Enable 2FA on your email account
  • Review recent login activity

Best Practices​

To keep your account secure:

  • Use a unique password - Don't reuse passwords from other sites
  • Enable 2FA - This is the best protection against unauthorized access
  • Don't share credentials - Never give your login info to anyone
  • Keep your email secure - Your email is the key to password resets

Report Compromised Account​

If you believe your account has been compromised and someone else enabled 2FA, you can request to have it disabled by clicking "Lost Device" at the bottom of the 2FA prompt when logging in. There is a 7-day waiting period before 2FA is removed.
