Using the GUIs
First, let me explain what this GUI is meant to show you:
- Hotbar Slots: This is where you can specify your optimal Hotbar loadout. The module will attempt to move the item stack that best fits the description of what you're looking for into each slot that you customize.
- Inventory Filters: This is where you can specify your optimal Inventory loadout. The module will attempt to manage your Inventory to fit the rules you've created here.
- Armor Management: This is where you can specify how (or if) your optimal Armor loadout is applied.
Additionally, the other interactive components in this GUI:
- Preset Name: This is where you can customize the name of the Inventory Preset, shown in the Vape GUI.
- Delete Inventory: This is where you can delete an Inventory Preset.
- Close Button: How you exit the GUI.
Use Cases
So, what can Inventory Manager actually be used for? It's intentionally designed to be adaptive and dynamic-- the idea is that it is configurable and intelligent enough to provide value for you in basically any situation.
Still though, it's helpful to have some concrete examples of how to use it. Here's one we thought up:
Knockback Sticks
In some minigame gamemodes like Skywars, you can find sticks with the Knockback enchantment on them throughout the map. Most of the time that you're in combat, a stick on your hotbar can safely be considered a junk item, but these Knockback sticks are an exception there. So, you can configure Inventory Manager to filter out junk from your hotbar, with a specific exclusion for those Knockback sticks.
- Select the hotbar slot that you'd prefer for the Knockback stick to be in
- Search up "stick" in the item selection GUI
- Add an Item Rule with the following specifications:
- If item matches...
Enchantment
Has
Knockback
- If item matches...
Then, you can configure the rest of the inventory preset how you prefer-- e.g. with rules in place to consolidate item stacks together, throw out junk, whatever.
