In-Game Issues

If Vape is running but features aren't working correctly or you're experiencing unexpected behavior, try the following solutions.

Solutions

  • Remove mods temporarily - If you're using mods, try removing them temporarily to see if the issue still happens. Some mods can conflict with Vape features.
  • Use a supported Minecraft version - Some features only work on specific versions. Check the supported versions page.
  • Use the official Minecraft launcher - Third-party launchers are not supported and may cause features to behave unexpectedly.

Common Issues

Features Not Working

If a specific feature isn't working: Check the features documentation for that module to understand how it works and what's required. If it still doesn't work or make sense, contact support.

info

Some features may not appear to be working due to an anticheat blocking the feature or settings. This is not a bug with Vape. For more information, see our Anticheat Safety guide.

Mod Conflicts

Some mods can conflict with Vape and cause issues such as crashing or features not working. Try removing all mods temporarily to see if the issue still persists. If the issue doesn't happen without mods, report this conflict to support so we can investigate.

In-Game Crashing

If the game crashes while using Vape:

  • Remove mods temporarily to rule out mod conflicts
  • If you're using a third-party launcher, try using the official Minecraft launcher as there may be a conflict
  • Try disabling all Vape modules to see if a specific module is causing the crash
  • Try launching without Vape - the crashing might be unrelated to Vape
  • If you've tried all the above, contact support with details about when the crash occurs

Performance Issues

Low FPS, stuttering, and lag in Minecraft while using Vape are most commonly caused by the following:

  • Mod conflicts and/or 3rd-party client conflicts
  • using certain Render modules
  • bugs can sometimes result in performance issues - please report to support
  • JVM arguments - if you have custom JVM arguments, try removing them temporarily to see if performance improves

Active modules

If performance only dropped after enabling certain modules, try simply disabling every single module and see if the issue still happens.

If that resolves the issue, its caused by one or more modules. You can report performance issues to support to have them resolved, or even report them on the forums for a reward

Check for Mod Conflicts

Some mods can conflict with Vape and cause performance problems. Try removing all mods temporarily to see if performance improves. If so its likely one or mods conflicting with Vape. Please report this to support so that we can resolve the issue

Still Having Issues?
