Friends

Vape allows you to add other Minecraft players and Vape users as friends, enhancing various features and interactions within the client.

Minecraft Friends​

Add friends by their Minecraft username. These friends have limited functionality compared to Vape Online friends.

  • Manual Specification of Friend or Foe: Overrides team settings in certain modules, ensuring friends are treated as friendly.
  • Username Aliasing: Assign custom names (aliases) to friends, useful for anonymity in recordings or identifying alt accounts.
tip

To add an alias for a Minecraft friend, append a space followed by the preferred alias when entering their Username.

For example, if adding Manthe as a friend, to set his alias as prplz, write: manthe prplz.

Vape Online Friends​

Connect with other Vape users for enhanced features and information sharing. Requires both players to be using Vape and signed in to Vape Online.

  • Adding Friends: Open the "Vape Friends" tab, sign in if needed, and click the "+" icon to add friends by their Vape Online username.

Vape Online Friends enable additional features like party messaging, location sharing, and inventory viewing, as explained in the Vape Online section.
